We've got 2 big afternoon shows this weekend. First off, we're hittin the OC Music Fest Jerry Jam Friday in Silverado. It's an afternoon show, and we hit the main stage at 5, opening for Cubensis . Gates open at noon on Friday and you can buy tickets here.
Saturday we're at the Roots Roadhouse festival at the Echoplex in Los Angeles. We're hittin the stage at 6:30 on the upstairs stage. Also on the bill are Dave Alvin, T Model Ford, Red Simpson, I See Hawks in LA, Pete Anderson, Chatham County Line, Olin and The Moon, Leslie and The Badgers, Whispering Pines, and whole lot more. Aug 5-8 we're heading north! We'll be playing shows in San Luis Obispo, Sacramento, Colfax and Ben Lomond. Featuring material from our first two releases Along The Cosmic Grass and Westering Again as well new material from our up coming release Sundrunk Angels. Here's the details, hope to see you there.

Thanks to all the amazing folks up north for coming out to the shows in Northern California last week. We had a spontaneous Tush-Push break out on the dance floor of the Frog & Peach in SLO, Absinthe, Po Boys, the Potato Pancake "Tower" Combo and an uncharacteristaclly short 1 hour set in Sacramento, a near riot at Evangeline's in Colfax and a solemn ode to the Blind Owl out at the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in the Santa Cruz mountains right before our show at Henfling's in Ben Lomond.
Yup, that's right. Tickets are $10, come on and check it out.
Doors open at 5, Paperplanes play at 5:30, Anny Celsi plays at 6:30, and us Californios at 7:30. It's all ages and it's FREE so come on down.
This Sunday we'll be playing a free show down at the Grand Ole Echo @ The Echo in Echo Park. We'll be adding some more tunes from our upcoming release and tapping into some older tunes we don't usually do or have never done. You never know what's going to happen - it could be a crowning moment of truly admirable achievement or a descent into the void of shameful disaster. Whatever the case, it'll all be as real as it gets.
